Here is a little intro to my blog!! My name is Nicole Willms. I am 25 years old. I live with my children and Husband in St Paul. I grew up in the area and lived in the same area my whole life! I have 2 brothers and a sister in law. My parents still live in the house that I grew up in which is about 2 blocks from where I live now. Its very nice having them close incase anything important comes up.
I took this class to get a little better understanding for journalism! I like to write and like to think I am a decent writer. However I know that I could get better! I am a nursing major and plan on getting my Masters in Nursing. So I feel this class will help me in many ways in achieving my goals!!
I bet your two kids keep you running, Nicole. My daughter is 17 months right now, and she hardly ever stops. I think that you are one of three nurses taking this class; I'm glad to see folks from a wide range of interests enrolled. I believe that the skills one learns in this class will help them throughout their lives, no matter what career they are in.
I think it is really unique and interesting that your family still lives in the house that you grew up in. What a really wonderful opportunity to share some of your heritage with your children.
I like how you took this class because you like writing. I love writing so its nice to see another person who likes it also. I still do not know what I want to major in but nursing has crossed my mind.
Although I was born in Burnsville I consider my hometown to be St. Paul and I think that's cool to know someone around this part of Minnesota from the same city. Perhaps not the same area but I'm sure you catch my drift.
It's good that you like to be busy, and I'm sure you are with a career, little ones, and school. I share your interest in writing and was considering nursing when I began taking classes at ARCC also. I look forward to reading more of your blogs.
